Presentation Commemorates Shelby's 1959 Le Mans Victory. Following the introduction of the new Shelby Series 1 sports car at the Los Angles Auto Show Carroll Shelby received a limited edition bronze sculpture of his 1959 Le Mans winning Aston Martin DBR1/2 by Tucson artist Jeff Gamble.

Partnered with Roy Salvadori the pair provided the company with their only win of the 24 hour classic.

The "Final Victory in Le Mans" sculpture was commissioned by Tilman Gregor of the Germany section of the Aston Martin Owners Club race organization.  The presentation was made by internationally known artist sculptor Jeff Gamble.  Mr. Salvadori was presented with his sculpture at the Silverstone Historic races.
Jeff Gamble's artwork is known for his three-dimensional detail of automotive history.  Working from his studio in Tucson his sculptures are enjoyed in the collections of famous race drivers, automotive executives, and collectors world wide.
